Ms. Muzzio is a principal in the Colorado Springs Office. She graduated summa cum laude from Seton Hall University in 1992 and received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers University in 1995. Ms. Muzzio was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1995, the New York bar in 1997, and the Colorado bar in 1998. She maintains licenses in all three jurisdictions. Ms. Muzzio’s first five years of practice in New Jersey consisted of general commercial and civil litigation, media law, land use, discrimination, and public entity representation, including cases involving real estate and contract disputes and eminent domain and condemnation.

Following her move to Colorado and prior to joining the firm,
Ms. Muzzio concentrated her practice of civil litigation in the area of
community association law, at which time she participated in extensive motion
practice, both at the trial and appellate levels, and successfully defended
homeowner associations at various trials both in the state county and district
courts.
At Vaughan & DeMuro, Ms. Muzzio concentrates her practice on the defense
of public and private companies, public entities, and their employees in the
areas of general civil litigation, insurance defense, land use including eminent
domain and condemnation, community association law, employment-related
litigation, and construction defect litigation. Her defense practice at the
trial level includes extensive motion practice, evidentiary hearings, and trials
before both the bench and jury in the state and federal district courts. Her
practice at the appellate level involves brief writing and oral argument, both
at the state and federal appellate
courts.
Ms. Muzzio is a member of the American, Colorado, and El Paso County Bar
Associations, the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research
Institute, and the Ben S. Wendelken Inn of Court.
